Bryson took us camping this past weekend to Flaming Gorge. I was very hesitant about going with a four week old baby, but it actually turned out okay. We left Friday morning. After we arrived at our campsite, Mustang Ridge, we set up camp. Thankfully we brought our canopy so the kids had some shade to nap in while we unpacked. It was really hot that afternoon!

That evening we walked down to the reservoir and the boys fished for about an hour while Eleyna and I read. It was pretty windy so the only thing the boys caught was seaweed because their lines kept getting blown back to shore. That night we enjoyed delicious tinfoil dinners prepared and cooked by my husband. After we put the kids to bed we roasted marshmallows for s'mores and did a little star gazing. Bry went fishing the next morning early and caught a fish. When he got back he made breakfast for me-the kids and I slept in. He put too much water in the pancake mix but he added graham crackers to the batter so I didn't even notice. After breakfast we packed everything up and hit the road. A good time was enjoyed by all!

Emily, that looks like it turned out to be a pretty great trip with 2 little ones. You two are brave:)I don't know if I told you but I think Elayna is such a beautiful name. And we really want you to come over to our house too. And I really want to see Elayna!
that looks like fun!
Isn't it crazy now that you can say "the kids"? You've got two kids and I've got one on the way! I can't believe we're at the mommy stage in life. Looks like you Bennetts know how to have a good time - s'mores sound so good!
What a fun trip! I am sure it was a lot of work, but the photos look like the memories will be worth it! :)
It's been a while since I popped over to check in on you, but I love LOVE LOVE the new template, by the way! :)
Wow, I am pretty impressed that you took 2 kids camping! You are a brave brave woman!
Angel and I are completely impressed by your ilk to go camping w/ your kids. We went for 48 hrs to a condo w/ all the conveniences of home and barely pulled it off. Whew!!!! You two motivate the hell out of me, just because you have a boy that needs extra attention you don't stop living. Plus it looks like Hunter is a natural outdoors man.
